Important Alabama artist added to auction

More great stuff keeps rolling in for the New Year's Day auction, including 3 1930's prints by Frank Hartley Anderson, noted Alabama artist and architect. We also have an oil on board by Charles Neugent, local Crestwood artist and friend and portraits by Dixie Porter, beloved Birmingham portrait artist. Another load of furniture has arrived including a Gov. Winthrop desk, Duncan Phyffe sofa, oak Hoosier cabinet, spinning wheel and more. We also have dozens of nice prints. We have a collection of vintage designer Blenko Glass as well as some vintage toys for this sale . Look for pix. Rusty has already set up the computer system and we are clearing a space for the chairs. Some Southern Pottery to be pictured later today, also.

Garden City has received a major art consignment of original named artists from a friend and dealer from Florida. No less than 10 original oils and one mono print dry point are headlining what is shaping up to be one of our best New Year's day auctions ever. Last sale in Fultondale

Drew says the auction house is full . Another truck load of furniture was consigned in this week, making little room for the chairs. We plan to sell as much as we can as we don't want to have to move it. Furniture purchased must be out by Dec.15th. Patrick has been working on our new web page.
