Jan 1 Sale Big Success

The New Year started off with a bang with a packed house for the first sale at our Crestwood location. The art work commanded prices within their auction estimates. There were some highlights, with the pegged 19th century pine cupboard bringing $1300 and the railroad brass bell ringing in the New Year at $550. While there were certainly other pieces that commanded prices higher than their estimates, overall the furniture prices were lower than the previous years, reflecting the buyer's market of the times.
